Methods of Transfering Data
FTP -
Data for ongoing projects and data for quotation or review can be uploaded to our FTP site:
ftp://ptoolftp@ftp.platinum-tool.com. Please call us prior to data upload for username and password information. We can also download data from customer FTP sites. Please contact us with required information to download and process the data.
CD or DVD -
Write required information onto disk (Windows compatible) and forward it to us.
We can also forward data back to you in this format.
PREFERRED METHOD -
Electronic transfer, either e-mail or FTP. Second choice would be CD or DVD.
FILE TYPES -
We can receive data files of the following types:
Unigraphics,
Cadkey (currently running Cadkey98 – including Fastsurf),
IGES, STEP, Parasolid (compatible with UG noted above), DXF, DWG, CTIA V4 (.exp), (.model) formats, CATIA V5. |
